Jordan, Thomas J., Jr. of Quincy originally from Dorchester, April 19, 2006. The beloved husband of 55 years to Marguerite “Peg” (Martin) Jordan. Loving Father of Thomas J. Jordan, III and his wife Dianne of Marshfield, Joanne Kalell and her husband Charles of Quincy, Elaine Adams and her husband Richard of Norwell, Maryann O’Reilly and her husband Richard of Dorchester and Robert E. Jordan and his wife Laura of Stoughton. Brother of the late Eleanor Murphy, Charles F. Jordan and Edward Wall. Brother in Law of Ann Jordan of Weymouth and Mary Wall of Milton. Devoted Grandfather of 13 grandchildren. Thomas is also survived by 4 nieces. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Thomas grew up in Dorchester. He was educated at Boston College High School class of 1937 and graduated from Boston College class of 1941. He served in the United States Army from Oct.1941 until he was honorably discharged on Oct. 19, 1945. Mr. Jordan worked for Exxon Chemical as an accounting manager in their Everett, Chestnut Hill and Boston offices until he retired back in 1974. His family remembers him as a devoted husband , father and grandfather. He enjoyed the Boston Red Sox. Mr. Jordan was a member of the VFW Post. He was very proud of his children’s accomplishments. He was always very proud that he came from Dorchester and would use the term “OFD” which stood for- Originally from Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Jordan may be made to Riverview School for special needs, 551 Rt. 6A, Sandwich, MA 02357. W.W. II Army veteran.
