Thomas J. Higgins

Higgins, Thomas J. of Weymouth, passed away March 14, 2022. Thomas was born and raised in Weymouth to the late Charles and Rita Higgins. He was a lifelong Weymouth resident and attended Weymouth High School. He earned his Associates Degree from Stonehill College. Thomas retired as Weymouth Police Chief in 1999, on the department for 38 years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 8:30-9:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM for a closing prayer on Saturday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.
