Thomas H. Alexander

Alexander, Thomas H. of Weymouth, passed away July 8, 2022. Tom was born in Wichita, Kansas, and later moved to Weymouth, Massachusetts and raised his family. He proudly served 21 years in the United States Marine Corps. Following his retirement from military service, he worked for the Town of Weymouth Schools, which he never looked at like a job, but rather a second home. He volunteered for Toys for Tots and was a Gold Star Surviving Family Member Representative, which he continued even after his USMC career. He was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.

Beloved husband of 36 years to Denice R. (Mayhew) Alexander of Weymouth. Loving son of Janet E. Alexander of KS and Jimmie R. Conrad of CA. Devoted father of Jacklynn Robbins of Weymouth, Thomas H. Alexander, Jr. and his wife Lisa Capobianco of Scituate, Hollie Louttit and her husband Kevin Louttit of Duxbury and Kellianne Alexander and her husband Sean Enright of Weymouth. Cherished Papa to Vera Robbins, Keith Robbins, Christian Louttit, Connor Louttit, Colin Louttit, Campbell Louttit, Amelia Alexander and Emily Alexander. Dear brother of Ralph Conrad of KS, Mark Alexander of KS, Mike Alexander of KS, Maureen Wilkins of KS, David Alexander of KS, Joseph Alexander of KS.  John Alexander Jr of MO, Christopher Alexander of KS and Angela Alexander of KS.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Tom was a friend and would do anything for anyone he met, even if briefly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Tom may be made to Toys for Tots at toysfortots.org or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
