Thomas G. Shea

Shea, Thomas G. of Weymouth, formerly of Cambridge, died January 26, 2014.

Tom was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Parish where he sang in the choir for many years. He was a member of the Third Order, Society of St. Francis, the Garden Club in Weymouth and was a friend of Bill W. As a skilled poet, Tom was a member of the International Poetry Society and had several of his pieces published over the years. Tom took great pride in donating blood and platelets, through the American Red Cross, any chance he could. He will be remembered for his kind and selfless nature. 

Cherished son of the late John and Ellen Shea. Loving brother of Mary Myers of Hull, Anne Nichols and her husband Brian of Weymouth, Francis Shea of Weymouth and the late Michael, Patrick and John Shea. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Tom may be made to the American Red Cross, 100 Cummings Center, Suite 207-F, Beverly, MA 01915.
