Thomas G. Magner

Magner, Thomas G. of Hingham, formerly of Lexington for 50 years, died September 7, 2015.

Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He worked for 39 years with the telephone company as an engineer and retired to West Palm Beach with his wife for 22 years before coming back to Hingham. He was a member of St. Bridget’s Parish and the Lexington Golf Course and enjoyed vacationing on the Cape. Tom’s family were most important to him. He adored his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Beloved husband of the late of Margaret S. (Sullivan) Magner.  Loving father of  Mary Loveland and her husband Robert of West Linn, OR, Thomas Magner and his wife Nancy of Orleans and Neil Magner and his wife Andrea of Boxboro.  Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Sarah and her husband Mark, Kate and her husband Noah, Brendan, Joseph, Timothy and John. Great grandfather to Samuel, Anna, Bridget, and Brooks.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 6-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 10 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
