Thomas F. Sullivan

Sullivan, Thomas F.  Hull Fire Fighter, died suddenly at home on May 24, 2017, he was 66.

The beloved husband of 28 years to Mari-Anne (Tarbox) Sullivan, HPD. Cherished father of Gregory T.  Sullivan and his wife Danielle of Medfield and Jeremiah J. Sullivan and his wife Lauren of NY, NY.  Step-Father of the late Treston S. O’Hare. Brother of Daniel Sullivan of Derry, NH, George Sullivan of Winthrop, Mary Carroll of Charlestown, William Sullivan of Dracut and Joseph Sullivan of Medford. Devoted Pop to Chase, Conor and Jackson Sullivan. Brother in Law of Paul Tarbox, Jr. of FL and Jo-Anne Trubia of Hull. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tom grew up in Charlestown and moved to Hull in 1973. Tom served as the Union President Local 1657 for the Hull Fire Department for many years. A licensed electrician, Tom was the youngest person in Massachusetts to receive his license at the age of 18. He had a strong work ethic, but in his spare time he enjoyed traveling and golfing. He was devoted to his family and will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather and brother and a dedicated firefighter. Tom will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
