Mellett, Thomas F. of Quincy, March 21, 2002. The beloved husband of Carol A. (Reaney), devoted father of Tara M. Mellett of NYC, NY and Maureen C. Mellett of Dorchester. Son of Michael and the late Anne (Walsh) Mellett of Milton. Brother of Michael J. Mellett of Attleboro and Mary R. Mellett of Milton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in Bethaney Congregational Church, 18 Spear St., Quincy Center, Sunday at 2 PM. Cremation will follow. Visiting hours at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday from 4-8 PM.Mr. Mellett was a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, the North Quincy Knights of Columbus and the VFW in Neponset. He was a Baseball coach at Blue Hills Regional Tech and an avid golfer. A graduate of St. Peter’s School, Mission High School and Boston State College Class of 1968, he earned his Masters from Fitchburg State College. He has been a popular teacher for 25 years at Blue Hills Regional VocTech High School.
