Hines, Thomas F. of Quincy(formerly of South Boston), March 20, 2004. Beloved husband of Mary M. (Laffey) Hines of Quincy. Loving father of Maureen Sargent and her husband Doug of Hanover, Gerard and his wife Karen of Hull, and Dennis and his wife Kathy of Norwell. Brother of the late Joseph. Devoted grandfather of Daniel and Carrie Sargent, Kelly Hines Browne, John, Ryan, Micaela, and MaryKate Hines. Devoted great grandfather of Amelia and Abigail Browne.Mr. Hines graduated from Boston College High School in 1938. He served in the United States Army, Signal Corps, during WWII. After the war he married Mary, and they recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Thomas was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #103, for 57 years. He was also a founding member of St. Boniface Church in Quincy, serving as a member of the Holy Name Society. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in St. Boniface at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 3:30-7 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in memory of Mr. Hines may be made to St. Boniface Haiti Foundation 14 Pond Ln. Randolph, MA 02368.
