McLaughlin, Thomas E., Sr. of Scotia, NY July 31, 2006. Husband of the late Frances M. (Reddington). Son of the late Bernard and Alice (Cronin). Father of Thomas E., Jr., Kevin, David and Peter all of Scotia, N.Y., Paul of Guilderland, NY, Brian of Syracuse, N.Y.,and James of Chapel Hill, N.C. Brother of Alice Kilroy of Norwood and the late Ann Concannon of West Roxbury, MA. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 grandaughter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 6- 9 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. A New York service will be held at a later date. Tom was a 1937 Graduate of Boston Latin School. Served in the U.S.Army during WWII in the 101st Airborne,injured during the Battle of the Bulge,Belgium in 1944. He also was a 1947 Graduate of New York University, Mechanical Engineering. He worked for many years with Sealtest Ice Cream, New York, NY; Detroit, MI and Schenectady, NY. and Lockwood Greene Industrial Engineering & Construction finishing his career with the Bristol -Meyers Squibb of Buffalo, New York. Donations in memory of Mr. McLaughlin may be made to your local Salvation Army.
