Thomas Cox

Cox, Thomas F. of Hull December 5, 2007. Beloved husband of 59 years to Eleanor D. (Powers) Cox. Loving father of Judy Cox of Hull, Thomas F. Cox, Jr. & his wife Barbara of Scituate, Richard S. Cox & his wife Yun of HI, and the late Janet Cox-Rockwell. Brother of the late Frederick E. Cox, Jr. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews. Thomas worked as a Hull firefighter for 25 years, retiring in 1978. As a carpenter, Tom designed and built his and his brother’s homes. He served as chairman of the Hull Planning Board for 20 years. A decorated Army veteran of WWII, Thomas fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a lifetime member of the DAV and a charter member of the Hull K of C. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery.
