Thomas Anthony Poirier

Poirier, Thomas Anthony of Dorchester formerly of Cambridge, July 31, 2004. Loving partner of Michael Brown of Dorchester. Beloved son of Thomas Poirier and Mary (Crossman) of Rockland. Brother of Robert Poirier of Rockland, John Poirier of Norwell and Barbara DeWolfe of Rockland. Best friend of Joseph David Moya of Quincy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Prior to working at John Scott Nursing Home Mr. Poirier worked at Cadbury Commons Assisted Living in Cambridge. He spent his life caring for senior citizens. He had a special connection with the residents he cared for as well as the staff he worked with. Thomas enjoyed country and western dancing, bingo, camping and crocheting. He was a 1984 graduate of Cambridge Ridge and Latin High School.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Gregory’s Church, Dorchester at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow.
