Thomas A. Walsh

Thomas A. Walsh of Weymouth, formerly of Boston, died peacefully on February 17, 2023. He was 77.

Thomas was born on May 13, 1945 to the late Marion and Thomas J. Walsh. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. He worked for the International Union of Elevator Contractors Local # 4 for 30 years and retired as an Elevator Inspector. Thomas proudly served his country as a Load Master in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Thomas was a member of the Quincy Elks Lodge # 943, formerly serving as an Exalted Ruler. He was also a member of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. Thomas loved to golf and play poker in his free time as well as catch up on his favorite TV shows like CSI and Star Trek. He was loved by all and will be incredibly missed.

Beloved husband to JoAnn Kiely Walsh. Devoted father to Jennifer and her husband Robert Kurzwell, Dina and her husband Steven Sexton, Karen and her husband Scott Thompson, and David Walsh, as well as loving stepfather to Amanda Fedor. Cherished grandfather to his grandchildren; Matthew, Caleb, Reid, Taylor, and Cameron. Caring brother to James and his wife Tula, Michael Sr., Janice and her husband Mike, Lois, the late Peggy Walsh Boyle, and the late Robert Laiweneek. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday February 24, 2023 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday February 25, 2023 at 10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
