Thomas A. Donovan

Mr. Thomas A. Donovan, of Weymouth, passed away on April 6, 2017.

Tom was a very active parishioner at Saint Jerome’s Church  in Weymouth. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and was always well known for his quick wit and being able to tell a joke or a funny story and many times with an accent. Tom was a member of the K of C # 116 in Dorchester and was a Korean War veteran serving with the United States Army. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him, especially his children and grandchildren.

Beloved husband of the late Joan (Evans) Donovan. Loving father of  Thomas J. Donovan of Quincy, Joan M. Corbett and her husband, Michael, of Rockland, Robert M. Donovan of Weymouth, and Karen Folan and her husband, David of Weymouth. Brother of the late Robert Donovan, John Donovan, and Mary Murray. Grandfather of Ashley, Caitlin, Matthew and Michael. Great Grandfather of Ella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial will  follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
