Theresa M. Gillis

Gillis, Theresa M. (Splaine) lifelong of Quincy, passed away May 15, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Everett Gillis. Loving mother of Stephen J. Gillis of CA and Michael J. Gillis of Quincy and the late David P. and Thomas E. Gillis. Sister of the late Mary Knoll, Anne MacKenzie, Edward, Vincent and Joseph Splaine. Cherished grandmother of Daniel E. Gillis of Andover. Great-grandmother of Isabel, Sydney and David Gillis. Theresa was born and lived all of her life in Quincy. She was a devoted Catholic and was a longtime parishioner at St. Mary’s Church in Quincy. Most of all Theresa’s family was the center of her life, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
