Theresa M. Dunford

Theresa M. Dunford of Whitman, died January 2, 2018.

Theresa grew up in Weymouth and lived in Bridgewater for many years before moving to Whitman. She worked as a registered nurse for 15 years, including time in the Massachusetts public school system and most recently at Pembroke Hospital. Theresa was an avid member of the Bridgewater Academy Lions Club. She enjoyed traveling, the beach and being with those she loved. Her children were her pride and joy.

Beloved fiance of James Tate of Whitman and former wife of Michael Tibert of Bridgewater. Devoted mother of Patrick Tibert of Weymouth, Julia Tibert of Maryland and Christine Tibert of Whitman. Cherished daughter of Michael and Carol Dunford of Weymouth. Loving sister of Michael Dunford and his wife Dana of Middleboro and the late Christine Dunford. Beloved niece of Peg Dunford of Whitman, Bob and Dot Dunford of Boston and Maureen Dunford of Boston. Also survived by many cousins. Best friend of Bev Dillon of Bridgewater.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
