Walsh, Theresa I. (Longphee) of Dorchester June 1, 2007. Beloved wife of Patrick T. Walsh. Loving mother of Patrick A., George E., and Catherine M. Walsh, all of Dorchester; Lisa Avery of GA, Robert Vazquez of Rockland, Debbie Vazquez of Pembroke, John Vazquez of Hull, Ralph Brand of Plymouth, and David Brand of Hyannis. Daughter of the late Anthony & Catherine Longphee. Sister of Daniel Longphee of Canada, Angus “Buddy” Longphee of FL, Al Longphee, Rose Morrison, both of Canada, and the late Joseph, Gregory, Gordon, and Cameron Longphee. Dearest friend of Miriam Vazquez of Hull and Katherine Thornton of Dorchester. Devoted grandmother to Jasmin, Ariana, Jackson, and several other grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mark’s Church, Dorchester at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 5-9 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. For 30 years, Theresa worked as a nurses aide at the Bostonian Nursing Home in Dorchester. She was proud of her Canadian heritage and being the daughter of a coal miner. A 47 year resident or Dorchester, Theresa’s focus was her family and keeping them together. She enjoyed country music, crocheting and caring for her pets. She would often accompany her sons on their trucking routes and take car trips with her daughter. Trips to Foxwoods and Las Vegas were remembered fondly. Theresa will be greatly missed by her whole family and many friends. As an option to flowers, donations in Theresa’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., 330 Congress St., Boston, MA 02210.
