Theresa E. (Mccormack) Flynn

Theresa E (McCormack) Flynn, age 89, of Pembroke, formerly of North Quincy, died peacefully on January 8, 2024 following a long illness.

Beloved wife of 65 years to the late John M. Flynn.

Loving mother of Maureen Lynch and her husband Timothy of Kingston, Kathy Weiler of Hanson, Bryan and his wife Kimberly of Scituate, and Jack and his wife Kristine of Abington.

Devoted Nana to Timothy, Meaghan, Stephen, Nicole, Allison, Holly, Christopher, Casey, Cally, Matthew, Lauren and Katelyn. Loving great-grandmother to Bailey, Flynn and Colin. Cherished sister of the late: Joseph, John, Francis and Paul McCormack and the late: Mary Kahler, Margaret Hogan, and Ann DeFeo. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Terri was a devout Catholic and active member of the Church. She loved ballroom dancing and was always eager to dance at recent weddings. She enjoyed reading, walking, and baking the famous “Nana” cookies for her family. Nana described her grown grandchildren as “her world”. She especially liked to hear updates of their careers and schooling and also enjoyed their attention as she shared stories of her adventures growing up in South Boston. She cherished the many winters she spent with her husband, Jack, and close friends in Naples, Florida.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
