Theodora F. Russo

Theodora F. “Theo” Russo (Labriola) of Weymouth, died December 13, 2016 at the age of 89.

As a young woman, Theodora worked as a hairdresser and for the Clapp Shoe Factory on Charles Street in Weymouth. Later in life she worked as an administrative assistant in the Pediatric Ward at South Shore Hospital for over 20 years. She was very artistic and lent her talents to creating beautiful wedding cakes. She also enjoyed drawing, painting, gardening and playing Bingo. The greatest joy of her life was entertaining and feeding her family. She cherished the many great memories of family gatherings and celebrations at the family pool.

She is reunited with the love of her life, John P. Russo, Sr. who died just seven weeks ago. Loving mother of John P. Russo, Jr. and his companion Patricia Smith; Rocco Russo and his wife Claudia, all of Weymouth; and Gina Russo and her partner Annmarie Mahoney of West Springfield. Sister of the late Angelina Clarke and Mary Brown. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 9-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street) followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Theodora may be made to South Shore Hospital Charitable Foundation, 55 Fogg Road, Weymouth, MA 02190.
