Gallant, Thelma M. “Foffy” (Drown) of Quincy November 20, 2003. Beloved wife of Frank P. Gallant. Loving mother of Nancy Hayes and her husband Jack, Patricia Horn and her husband Dominic; all of Quincy, Jeanine Epley and her husband John of Haverill, Frankline C. Tusini and her husband Jack and Janet Chambers and her husband Nelson of Hingham. Sister of the late Joseph Drown. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Thelma worked as a waitress for several years. One of the last restaurants she worked at was Fireplace Restaurant on Washington Street in Quincy. She enjoyed writing poetry and short stories. Thelma was a collector of angels, dolls and as her husband Frank states, “she was a collector of friends”. She crocheted many blankets for family and friends and also loved to sing. She was the Valedictorian at Brighton High School, graduating in 1934. Donations in memory of Mrs. Gallant may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
