Thelma L. Shea

Shea, Thelma L. of Quincy, formerly of Prospect, Nova Scotia, died at home on June 9, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.

Thelma was a telephone operator for many years and also enjoyed her grandchildren, dancing and watching the Red Sox. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Shea. Loving mother of Christine M. Shea of Quincy, Maryellen  Shea of Quincy, Susan P. Shea of Quincy, Joanne C.  White and her husband, Francis, of Quincy, and Joseph B. Shea and his wife, Monica of W. Roxbury. Grandmother of Nathan, Lauren, Jacqueline, Frankie, and Alana. Sister of Bernardine  MacMillan of Nova Scotia,Canada, and the late Clarence Christian, Florence Bourgeois, and Harold Christian.  Sister-in-law of Rev. Bernard Shea of Boston and Elizabeth Merrick of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Memorial donations may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
