Theda Thompson

Thompson, Theda “Tede” of Weymouth, formerly of Boston died August 4, 2020 at the age of 94.

Tede grew up in Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School on D-day in 1944. She later moved to Boston where she continued to live for most of her life. Tede was a proud, hard working woman who worked in the administrative mail room at John Hancock for over 50 years before her retirement. She cherished her nieces and nephews and showed them the finer things in life. Tede enjoyed baseball, traveling, fine foods and scratching lottery tickets. She will be remembered for her thoughtful, caring, independent personality. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved aunt of Mary R. Delmonico and her husband Richard Delmonico, David J. Hamilton, Jr, John P. Hamilton and his wife Debra Hamilton of Weymouth and Jane M. Muzzi of Weymouth. Cherished cousin of Rose M. Hamilton of Weymouth and the late David J. Hamilton, Sr.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 10-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
