Teresa A. “Tess” Dalton

Teresa A. “Tess” (McPortland) Dalton, of Rockland, died April 9, 2015. Tess lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Rockland 27 years ago. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for over 20 years with Hingham VNA and Brookline Hospital. She was a compassionate nurse who was devoted her to patients and work. Tess loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Dalton. Devoted mother of Margaret McLaughlin and her late husband Paul of NH, Karen Kelly of Rockland and her husband Gerard of Dedham, Teresa Killgoar and her husband Jack of Hanover and the late Dorothea Meighan and her husband Steve of Weymouth. Loving sister of Winifred Johnson of Carver and predeceased by 5 siblings. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) 

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 11 AM.

Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden at a later date.
