Teresa A. Callahan

Callahan, Teresa A. (Waszkiewicz) of Quincy, passed away September 28, 2017.

Terry was a longtime resident of Quincy, previously living in Dorchester and Milton. In her younger years, she was a part of the Polish Club in Dorchester where she attended a dancing group. She enjoyed classical music and playing piano. In her spare time she also enjoyed hiking, camping and going to the beach. Most importantly, Terry will be remembered for her kind and giving heart and having a huge amount of hospitality. She loved to care for and spend time with children. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Loving daughter to Jean Waszkiewicz (Ashwin) and the late Jan Waszkiewicz. Loving wife to the late Michael Callahan. Cherished mother to Michael Callahan and his wife Kate of Sagamore Beach, Amy Callahan of Quincy, Kevin Callahan and his wife Tanya of TX, and James Callahan of Quincy. Grandmother to Michael and Grace Callahan, Kayla and the late Andrew Cunningham, Sequoia, Kiara, Koi and Jonah Callahan. Beloved sister to Christine Barriere and her husband Larry of NH, Peter Waszkiewicz and his wife Linda of Quincy, Robert Waszkiewicz and his wife Donna of NH and the late Richard Waszkiewicz and his surviving wife Maura of Dorchester. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
