Ted C. Collagan

Collagan, Theodore C., Jr. “Ted” of Quincy, died February 20, 2016.  

Ted worked as a Foreman for the Quincy Parks Department, formerly know as the Forestry Department for 37 years.  He spent 6 years in the Navy and was stationed in Jacksonville, FL assigned to the Aircraft Carrier, USS Antietam.  He had a passion for being outdoors which included fishing on Cape Cod, hunting in Maine and camping.  Ted also had a green thumb and would spend numerous hours in his garden.  He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Red Sox and Patriots.  Most of all, Ted was proudest and happiest when with his family and spending time with those he loved.  He will be sadly missed.

Beloved husband of Cheryl Collagan of Quincy. Loving father of Kimberly Stevenson and her husband Samuel of Plymouth, Kathleen Cormican and her husband Kevin of Quincy and Kelli Collagan of Braintree.  Devoted grandfather of Christa, Adam, Kali, Kyle, Hannah and the late Leah and Tony.  Great Grandfather of 5.  Cherished son of the late Theodore Collagan and Grace Collagan (O’Brien).  Caring brother of Lois Nashawaty and her husband Charles of Needham. Fond uncle of Suzanne and many other nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
