Ahern, Taylor J. of Quincy September 22, 2003. Husband of the late Ursula (Egan). Loving father of Mark X. Ahern of Marshfield, Dana D. Ahern of Quincy and Taylor T. Ahern of Marshfield. Grandfather of Brian Paul, Chrissy, Taylor III, Jessie, Josh, Andrew Smith,Alison Smith and Thomas Ahern. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. WOLLASTON, Saturday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Ann Church at 9 AM. Visiting hours Friday 2 -4, 7-9 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery. Mr Ahern was active in local politics in the City of Quincy, He was President of the Ward Five Democratic Committee. He has also served under five mayors, from Mayor McIntyre to Mayor Sheets as a building inspector. Mr. Ahern was in the class of 43 at Boston College and was a Gold Star Father.
