Tara V. Roehrer-Iorio

Tara V. Roehrer-Iorio, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was 50. Born on November 5, 1971, she was raised in Morristown, NJ.

Tara spent the summers of her youth on the Cape and later with a family of her own on Nantasket Beach. She was an accomplished athlete in the class of 1989 at Morristown High School and in college at the Catholic University of America.  Tara’s passion for athletics fueled her to compete as an Ironman triathlete after college.

Tara started her career as a structural engineer and later reinvented herself as a paramedic.  She was serving in her role as a first responder, assisting at understaffed hospitals around the country during and after the COVID pandemic when she passed.

Above all else, Tara was a devoted mother, champion and fan of her two boys, Dylan and Max. Beyond her boys, Tara is survived by her husband Rick, parents Christopher and Patricia Roehrer of Hopkinton, NH, her sister and brother-in-law Liesl and David MacGregor of North Andover, MA, and her nieces and nephews Christopher, Caitlyn, Colin, and Cathryn MacGregor.
