Sylvia “Geri” Froom

Froom, Sylvia (Card) “Geri” of Hull, died November 29, 2014 suddenly surrounded by her loving family.

Geri was born in Somerville and raised with her grandparents in Portland, ME then moved back to Somerville at the age of 12 to live with her mother Doris. She met and married her husband Paul when he returned from WWII and began raising their family in Dorchester, and later settled in Hull to continue raising the family. She worked as a clerk in the Probation Department of Quincy Court for 18 years. Geri enjoyed hitting the casinos, caring for small animals, and traveling especially her five trips to Italy and cruises but most of all enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Any chance to go to a family event was taken advantage of. 

Geri was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul Nathaniel Froom Jr. Loving mother to Paula Stockhausen and her husband Peter from Isabela, Puerto Rico, Paul Nathaniel Froom III of Hull, and Robert Froom of Hull. Geri is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street)  Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
