Suzanne Shorey

Shorey, Suzanne (Stetson) of Hingham formerly of Plymouth, passed away at John Scott House in Braintree on October 29, 2008. Beloved wife of the late William F. Shorey. Cherished mother of Bruce Shorey and his wife Kristina of Hingham, Barry Shorey of Plymouth, David Shorey and his wife Diane of Humble, TX and Lynn Kochanowski and her husband Ron of Agawam. Loving sister of Harriet Doyle of Halifax and John Myers of Florida. Devoted grandmother of Kathryn Bizzozero and her husband Michael of West Roxbury, Elizabeth Shorey of South Boston, Kimberly Shorey of Hingham, David Shorey of Humble TX, Benjamin and Sara Kochanowski both of Agawam. Suzanne was a longtime resident of Hingham and spent summers in Plymouth. She enjoyed singing, dancing, tennis, ice skating and match making.She was an active member of the Hingham Civic Music Theatre as well as Hingham Music Community Center Cabaret. Her faith played a strong role in her life. Suzanne was a very active member at Hingham Congregational Church in Hingham and sang for many years in the choir. She was a very positive person and a woman full of life. She was devoted to her family and her faith. Suzanne will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have had her in their lives. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the the memorial visitation on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 4-8pm in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham. A memorial service will be held on Sunday in the Hingham Congregational Church, 366 Main St. Hingham at 1pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Shorey may be made to Hingham Congregational Church, Music Fund, 366 Main St. Hingham, MA 02043.
