Susan Petersen

Petersen, Susan (Barry) of Manakin Sabot, VA formerly of Hingham, died at the age of 68 on September 11, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Peter F. Petersen. Loving mother of Peter B. Petersen of Hingham, Susan E. Cleary of Lynnfield and Kristen P. Wheeler of Charlestown. Sister of Barbara Borgal and Lee Barry of Las Vegas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren who called her “Lulu” , she loved their company and was overjoyed when they visited. Mrs. Petersen was a former x-ray technician. She was an avid golfer, skier and enjoyed interior decorating. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Tuesday at 10am. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Visiting hours were held in Virginia. Donations in memory of Mrs. Petersen may be made to A.L.S., Lou Gehrig’s Disease 7 Lincoln St., Wakefield, MA 01880
