Susan Mcdermott

McDermott, Susan of Connecticut formerly of Quincy, died September 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. 

Susan was a hard working woman who was devoted to her family.  She had a passion for her motorcycle (81), playing sports particularly softball and hockey and finding adventures in life.  Susan had an artistic style and enjoyed painting as well as arts and crafts.  She could be found on the beach, cooking in her kitchen or gardening in her yard.  Over anything else, caring for her family came first.  Susan will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved mother of Danielle Hannon and Casey Hannon both of Quincy.  Devoted grandmother of Mason Smith.  Loving daughter of James and Carole Gallery.  Caring sister of Lynn Deluca, Christine Callahan and Jamie Gallery. Former wife of William Hannon.  A special thank to her amazing caregivers Thomas Steadward and Lauren Hoffman of Connecticut.  Also survived many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 2-5 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated on Saturday at 5 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
