Susan J. Kelly

Kelly, Susan J. (McDonough) of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2011, with her family by her side. Former wife of Thomas X. Diskin of Boston. Susan was the loving mother of three children; Glynnis M. (Diskin) LaRosa and her husband Vincent of Bridgewater, Daniel C. Diskin and his wife Antonietta of E. Hampstead, NH and Susan J. (Diskin) Warfield and her husband William of Middleborough. Susan was the proud grandmother of Stefanie L. Diskin, Thomas J. Diskin and Michael T. LaRosa. During her 74 years she worked for NE Telephone Co., Western Union Tel. Co. and US Gov. OIG. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mark’s Church, Dorchester at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Susan may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114, Attn: Donation Department.
