Susan J. Goba

Susan J. (Gilmore) Goba, of Wollaston, died April 12, 2013, after a brief illness, she was 72. 

Susan was a supervisor for the O.R at Quincy Medical Center as well as a Nursing Instructor at Quincy College. She volunteered her talent as a seamstress for the Boston Ballet. She enjoyed reading and helping her husband write poetry. As a skilled nurse, Susan also enjoyed being the health care provider for her neighbors. She had many interests and hobbies, but none more important than her family. She truly enjoyed preparing meals for them and creating a warm and comfortable home to nurture them. Susan will be remembered as loving woman who adored her family. They feel honored and blessed to have had such an amazing woman in their lives. She will live on in their hearts forever.

Loving and caring wife  of 51 years to  Ronald J. Goba of Wollaston. Cherised mother of Gerald V. Goba and his wife Karyn of Hanover, Thomas P. Goba and his wife Migdalia of Montgomery Village, MD and Jennifer Goba of North Quincy. Dear sister of Barbara Gilmore of Worcester and Howard Gilmore, Jr. of Onset. Beloved Ema to Nikolas, Marina, Nathan, David, Shayla, Daniel, and Isabela. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Susan may be made to Father Bill’s Place, Development Office, 422 Washington St., Quincy, MA 02169.
