Susan Fox

Susan Fox (Murphy) of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, by way of South Boston, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2023. She was 65 years old.

Born in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Murphy (Mahoney). Susan graduated from South Boston High School. She was employed for 30 plus years with Stop and Shop Companies in Quincy, MA where she coordinated all licensure for Stop and Shop locations in Massachusetts. She loved her summer vacations in South Yarmouth, trips to Martha’s Vineyard and cruises to Bermuda. Susan enjoyed cooking, and a good barbeque!  She was always up for socializing and attending gatherings with family, friends and neighbors. She was a fan of the television show “Blue Bloods”.  Susan enjoyed learning about the British Monarchy and enjoyed talking to her friends about their recent activities.  Susan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beloved mother of Dale Fox of Weymouth, brother in law of Michael Knox of Iverness FL, sister of Christine Rose of St. Petersburg FL, and the late; Linda Murphy, Patricia Knox and Teresa Murphy. Aunt of Rebecca and Rachel. Susan will also be remembered by her extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 11/01/2023 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Susan may be made to the Noonan Syndrome Foundation.
