Susan L. Flynn

Susan Lynn Flynn (Shaw) of Boston, passed away on August 26th, 2024, she was 64.  

Beloved mother of Nicole Flynn (Daniel Weidenfeld), Ryan Flynn, Amanda Flynn (Sean Norton), and the proud grandmother to Quincy, Zadie, and Kennedy. She was the loving daughter of the late Robert Shaw and Patricia Morris and her stepmother, Barbara Shaw. She was the oldest of six siblings: Karen Freitas (Bob McInnis), Dianne White (Michael White), Maureen Bloom (Rick Bloom), Brian Shaw (Melanie Shaw), and the late Robert Shaw (Bobby). She always had her nieces and nephews in tears of laughter: Taylor Bloom (Sarah Sanders), Alec Bloom (Gabby Bloom), Jessica Shaw, Erin Shaw, Zachary Freitas (Emma Thompson), and Kyle White. A special thank you and gratitude to her dear friend Robert Dean. 

Those who knew Susan will remember her deep love for her children and grandchildren and her beauty, kindness, and sense of humor. She was always the funniest person in the room and loved making others laugh. She will be missed by all who knew her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday, Sept. 4th from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5th at 11:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
