Susan E. Fleck

Fleck, Susan E. of Hingham, formerly of Hull, passed away April 7, 2011. She was the beloved daughter of the late Antoinette and Herbert Fleck. Loving sister of Herbert F. Fleck, Jr. and his wife Susan, Judith Fleck Vivien, Paula Fleck, Gregory Fleck and his wife Patricia and the late Michael Fleck, all of Hull. “Aunt Sue” to many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and a great-niece. Also survived by many dear friends. Susan worked at Jordan Marsh for almost 20 years and later at Daley & Wanzer for 28 years. As an active member of St. Mary’s Parish, Susan was a CCD teacher, lector and an Parish Consolidation Committee Member. She was a member of the Hull Garden Club, Rotary Club, Lions Club and Friend of the Paragon Carousel. She had a special place in her heart for golden retrievers which earned herself the nickname “Golden Girl”. Her family describes her as a kind and loving woman who loved to be surrounded by her family and lived a full life. She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. Donations in memory of Susan may be made to St. Mary’s Parish, PO Box 565, Hull, MA 02045, Attn: St. Vincent De Paul Society.
