Susan A. Champagne

Champagne, Susan A. (Doherty) of Braintree, passed away August 16, 2011. Beloved wife of fifty years to Paul Champagne of Braintree. Loving mother of Lisa M. Mariano and her husband, Chris, of Westford, Paul L. Champagne,Jr. and his girlfriend Linda Forsyth, Kevin M. Champagne and his girlfriend, Cheryl Barter, and Peter F. Champagne and his wife, Vickie all of Braintree. Sister of the late Charles Doherty. Cherished grandmother of Leigh Anne, Paul, Christian, Timothy, Christopher, Colby, Nicolas, John, Brittney, and John Paul. Aunt of Maryann Paskell, John Doherty both of Hanover and several other nieces and nephews. Susan was born in Boston and had lived in Quincy before moving to Braintree 46 years ago. Until her retirement, she had worked for many years at Quincy Mutual. A lover of flowers and babies, Susan also loved being around her family and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
