Steven R. Reardon of Weymouth, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2024. He was 59 years old.
Born in Weymouth he was the son of the late John J. and Rita Reardon. Steven graduated from Weymouth North / Vocational High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Steven was a cook most of his life working at the Venetian and numerous other establishments over the years. He spent the last few years as a driver for Lyft and enjoyed the many conversations he would strike up with his customers. Steve was a very social person who could talk to anyone about anything. He was a big sports fan and loved all the Boston teams. Gatherings with family and friends meant the world to him. He enjoyed his frequent trips to Foxwoods and cherished the lifetime friendships he made there. Steve was a loving devoted son and caretaker to his mother in the later years of her life. One of his most treasured memories was having coffee in the morning with her.
Beloved brother of Linda A. Lynch and her husband David of Weymouth, John J. Reardon III of Weymouth and Michael Reardon of Marshfield. Loving Uncle of David P. Lynch Jr and his wife Christina of Quincy and Jason Reardon of Marshfield. Great Uncle to Jaina Lynch of Quincy. Will also be missed by many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 2/12 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth on Tuesday 2/13 at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Steven may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
