Clark, Steven P. age 33 of Quincy died after a courageous battle with cancer on Dec. 3, 2006. Loving son of Willard “Buck” Clark and Marylou (Costello) Clark of Quincy. Devoted fiancee of Joanna Rapalje of Quincy. Brother of Gene Clark and his wife Patricia of Middleboeo and Dean Clark and his wife Lynn of Weymouth. Cherished Uncle of Michael Clark and his fiancee Tereasa Bumpus, Chris Milton, Erica & Mary Clark and Noah & Matthew Rapalje. Nephew of Elta Kelly , Eloise Mastrangelo, Sonny & Marilyn Loadwick. Alfred Loadwick and Beverly Loadwick. Steven is also survived by many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service in Christ Episcopal Church, 12 Quincy Ave. Quincy Saturday at 10am. Memorial visiting hours Friday 4-8pm at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Steven may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 55584 Boston, MA 02205-5584 or the family suggests donating blood in memory of Steven. Friend of Bill W. Steven Paul Clark a lifetime resident of Quincy died on Sunday at Brigham & Womens hospital after a courageous battle with cancer and long time illness for over 11 years, he was 33 years old. Steven was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his leg in 1995. He underwent surgery that removed the tumor, and a large portion of his calf. He was treated with chemotherapy for a year and underwent rehabilitation to relearn how to walk again. In March 2003 the cancer returned in the form of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Steven then went through a bone marrow transplant, with his brother as his marrow donor and then hospitalized in the isolation unit for over a month. Complications from the transplant led to liver disease. Treatment for this disease caused steriod induced diabetes and Steven suffered from a severe bone degeneration disorder. As a result, one of hips hips collapsed and he was then hospitalized for another month before returning to rehab for additional 90 days. Stevens parents Marylou & Willard “Buck ” Clark along with his Quincy native fiance Joanne Raplje credit Steven with an incredible love for life, family and friends. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. Steven graduated from North Quincy High School class of 1991 . When Steven was healthy he worked in construction with various constrction companies. He was very active in his church
