Steven J. Mullen

Mullen, Steven J. of Quincy, died July 14, 2014.

Endlessly proud of his time with the U.S. Navy, Steven was a dedicated patriot. Loved by many for his unbridled generosity and outgoing personality, Steven made friends wherever he went. A devoted son, he cared for his elderly parents throughout the course of their illnesses, rarely leaving the bedside. Upon falling ill himself, Steven accepted the diagnosis with the grace and courage of a devoted Catholic, using his remaining time on earth to strengthen his relationships with friends and family. He will be greatly missed. 

Beloved son of the late Francis and Mary Mullen.  Loving brother of Susan Mullen of Quincy, David Mullen and his wife Carolyn of Abington and Janet Higgins and her husband Peter of Quincy.  Loving uncle of John and Christine Higgins & Leo and Alex Mullen. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
