Steven E. Ikasalo

Ikasalo, Steven E. of Pembroke, formerly of Holbrook, passed away April 23, 2012 after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was 58. Steven worked as a meat manager for Stop and Shop for many years and was an avid hiker and conversationalist. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Beloved husband of Ruth (Savary) Ikasalo of Pembroke. Devoted father of John Ikasalo of VT, Jessica Stevens of FL and Michael and Mark Ikasalo, both of Pembroke. Son of the late Stanley and Joan (Lundgren) Ikasalo. Cherished Grandpa of 5 grandchildren. Loving brother of Paul Ikasalo of Wareham, David Ikasalo of NH, Rick Ikasalo of Kingston and Nancy LeClair of Taunton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 8-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
