Stephen T. Thornley

Thornley, Stephen P. of Weymouth, died March 17, 2022. 

Stephen was a fan of the Blue Angels Air Shows, enjoyed all the Boston sports teams, and was a talented athlete in his younger days excelling in tennis and baseball. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5027 in Weymouth.  He was generous with his time and would help anyone in need and was a special friend to those in recovery. He donated to numerous charitable organizations, especially ASPCA.  He love music and attended many concerts.

Loving son of Alice (MacLeod) of Weymouth and her late husband Frederick Thornley.  Cherished brother of Artie Thornley of Weymouth, James Thornley of Rockland, Robert Thornley of Weymouth, Linda Stohl of Weymouth, Peter Thornley of Hanover, and Susan Swain of Weymouth.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
