Stephen Paul MacKinnon of Weymouth, died unexpectedly April 28, 2021.
Beloved husband of Marilee (Marotta) MacKinnon of Weymouth. Devoted father of Carly MacKinnon of Weymouth and step-father of Alivia Hearon of Weymouth. Cherished son of Paul and Christine MacKinnon of Weymouth. Loving brother of Laurie MacKinnon Clemente and her husband Anthony of Reading, David MacKinnon and his wife Michelle of Weymouth and the late Katelyn MacKinnon. Proud uncle of Avalina, Gabriel and Cye. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephen was grateful and cherished the deep friendships he had throughout his entire life.
Stephen worked as a union plumber with Local #12 for 36 years. He could often be found working on his car, tinkering in his yard or enjoying a beautiful day outdoors. He had a love of music and was a skilled saxophone player in his early years. Stephen was a kind and loving man with a contagious laugh that will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, May 5th at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
