Carousso, Stephen M. “Steve” of Quincy, died January 1, 2018.

 

Steve was born and raised in Queens, New York and eventually moved to Quincy where he had been a longtime resident. He earned his master’s degree at City College of New York. He worked as an electrical engineer at Draper Laboratory, and prior to that for many years at Carl Zeiss, as well as at Stambry’s Crescent Moon Soaps.  Steve enjoyed fishing at Pemberton Pier, astronomy, building and operating ham radios and tinkering with electrical gadgets. He was an easy-going man who was loving and caring to his family. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

 

Beloved son to Neil and Margaret Carousso of New York and cherished father to Miranda Carousso and Corey Carousso, both of Quincy. He is also survived by his wife, Pamela Tand-Carousso and his brothers Neil G. Carousso (wife Rosemarie) and Paul Carousso (wife Christina), and sister Maryann Carousso. Former husband to Carlene Carousso of Quincy. Step-father to Amber Tand of FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 9-10AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Service will be held in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
