Steven J. Lobue

We were blessed to know and learn many valuable lessons from Steven during his 56 years of a well lived life. Most important of those were God and family first. Steven, a force to be reckoned, a motivator, a beautiful spirit, an explorer originally from Holbrook, MA set off for a beautiful dream, adventure and life in Oahu, Hawaii where he lived and loved life, his wife & his children. Most lucky enough to know him, knew he had time for you; To listen, share, laugh or just be with. Steven was devoted to God and bringing anyone closer to him was something he felt honored and driven to do with a passion that was truly unique to him and his beauty. Steven, a lover of music, a love passed down to him from his father, John and then fittingly passed down to his oldest son Caleb, a budding talented guitarist, was creative and a man of vision. Steven, a hopeless romantic regularly thanked his wife of 19 years, cheyanne, “thank you for marrying me” to which she replied, “thank You for asking”. Equally devoted to his children, he found fatherhood to be his most honored and loved calling. Steven may be gone in the physical sense, but to those blessed to know him, will feel and hear him forever. Steven was simply an unforgettable man and person. If he touched your life, you wouldn’t soon forget him. He was a friend, he was a brother, he was a teacher and he never allowed himself to stop being a humble learner. Gone too soon, Steven is dancing in heaven, at peace and loving every moment with the Lord and his mother Nancy.

He was the loving husband of Cheyanne (Matthews) LoBue. Proud and devoted father of Caleb LoBue, Christian LoBue, Jacob LoBue and Arielle Adams. Cherished son of Louis J. “Johnny” LoBue and his longtime partner, Nancy Roberts of Randolph, and the late Anne Marie (Nancy) Lawton. Loving brother of Kathleen LoBue-Jones of Holbrook, Christine Young and her husband David, of Weymouth. Caring uncle of Bryan Jones, Arianna Fredericks and her husband Brett of Holbrook, Sean and Natalie Young of Weymouth. Long time and best friend of Glenn Smith. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends.
