Stephen F. Mclore

McLore, Stephen F. of Plymouth, died October 15, 2017 after a courageous battle at the age of 68.

Steve was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Pembroke where he lived for over 40 years. He then recently moved to Plymouth. He owned his own very successful company for over 40 years, McLore Masonry. Steve enjoyed spending summers camping at Baxter Lake in New Hampshire and spending winters in Naples, FL with his beloved wife, Jean. Family was the cornerstone of his life; he will be remembered for being a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was the heart and soul of his entire family. He had a heart of gold and was willing to do anything for anyone. Steve had a great work ethic, amazing sense of humor, and was a book of wisdom. He was the type of person to never give up, right until the very end. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Son to the late Floyd and and Mary (McKenna) McLore. Beloved husband to Jean McLore of Plymouth. Cherished father to Christine Gonsalves of Boston, Kathleen Yudis and her husband Eric of Hanover, Mark McLore of Braintree, Heidi McLore and her fiance Chris Mathis of Kingston and Nicole Savitski and her husband Nicholas of Kingston. Loving “Papa” to Steven, Kayleigh, Ashley, Paityn, Colton and Courtney. Brother to Duncan McLore and his wife Patricia Flaherty, Robert McLore, and Virginia Ann Yzereef and the late Janet McLore, Andrew McLore, Margaret Prim, and Michael McLore. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, October 19th, 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday, October 20th, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North Street, Hingham at 10 AM.
