Stephen F. Mcgrath

McGrath, Stephen F. of Marshfield, died peacefully March 15, 2016 surrounded by his family.  

Stephen graduated from North Quincy High School, class of 1971.  He was an avid sports fan especially for the Red Sox and Patriots.  Stephen was a man of great generosity and a friend to all.  He will be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor.  Stephen will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Loving son of the late John and Patricia McGrath.  Devoted brother of Patricia Callahan and her husband Paul, Maureen Flaherty and her husband Thomas, Kathleen Sawkiewicz and her partner Susan Jackson, Jane Shore, John McGrath and his wife Marla, Lawrence McGrath and his wife Robin and Robert McGrath and his wife Karen.  Beloved long time partner of Pauline McCarthy. Devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM prior to the Funeral Mass TUESDAY (March 22) in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Stephen may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave #2, Norwood MA 02062.
