Stephen E. Gately

Stephen E. Gately of North Dighton, died suddenly on March 26, 2024 at the age of 59.

Stephen worked in the pharmaceuticals industry. He was a cigar aficionado and a bourbon connoisseur. A longtime fan of the Bruins and Patriots, Stephen was also a fan of grilling and bird watching in the backyard. The Civil War and fishing were some of Stephen’s favorite hobbies.

He was the husband of the late Jennifer Ann (Stueber) Gately. Loving father of Dylan Gately of Lakewood, OH and Devin Gately of NYC. Brother of Michelle Gately of East Bridgewater and Mark Gately of Sharon. Brother in law of James Stueber and Sandy Stueber, both of Avon Lake, OH. Uncle of Joseph Dutcher, USMC of Japan, Rachel Dutcher, Sarah Stueber of Chicago, and Nicholas Stueber of Avon Lake, OH.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4/1/24 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So.
