Stephen A. Meighan

Mr. Stephen A. Meighan, of Weymouth, passed away on April 8, 2022.  He was 83.

Steve worked for 40 years for both New England Telephone and AT&T as a  telephone repairman. He was a soldier in the Massachusetts National Guard for 10 years and Cubmaster of Pack 100 Cub Scouts in Neponset for 20 years. In his spare time Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, camping, and in his younger years enjoyed playing football. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. 

Beloved husband of the late Dorothea W. (Dalton) Loving father of Stephen  Meighan, Jr  and his wife, Carol, of East Bridgewater, Denise Pollis and her husband, Michael, and Mary Meighan all of Weymouth and Edward Meighan and his wife, Peggy, of New Hampshire. Brother of Hugh Meighan and his wife, Marylou of Quincy, Teresa Hacunda and her husband, Peter, of Northhampton,  and the late Joseph Meighan, Jr. Proud papa of Nicole, Carl, Timothy, Sean, Kevin, Conor, and Shannon. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, April 11th, from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday, April 12th,  prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.

Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
