Stephanie Joyce Tlasek

Stephanie Joyce Tlasek of Marshfield passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 16, 2024. She was 44.

She was born in Boston to Joanne (Gould) and Robin Tlasek and raised in Holbrook. She graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School and went on to take courses at Quincy College. Stephanie faced many adversities in her life but never let them stand in the way of living and thriving at that. She met life’s challenges head on, with a constant and unwavering sense of humor, and always made sure she cared for others as they cared for her.

It was this caring, maternal nature and compassion that made her an excellent nanny and caregiver. She was always sure to instill the importance of trust and everlasting compassion for everything you do and everyone you love.

Stephanie had an adventurous, untamable spirit. Nothing could stop her. She loved to travel wherever she could and especially loved her time spent in Jamaica. Stephanie always gravitated towards the ocean, whether it was on the beach, a boat or in the water. In the winters, she would take up skiing and yes, she did so with one leg. Her tenacity was something to be admired and it was by her cousins, family and friends.

She was especially crafty and used her passion and creativity to own and operate an online store called The Irish Cousins that sold handmade soaps, body lotions. She loved to be able to not only work with family but to spread love through all the products she made.

Stephanie was a fixture not only in her family but in her community. She always took the time to check in on people, remember birthdays and make everyone she knew feel special.

Cherished daughter of Joanne (Gould) and Robin Tlasek of Marshfield. Loving sister to Robin Tlasek Jr. and his fiancé Agata Malinowski. Beloved niece to Kathleen Gould, Ann Marie and Ted O’Donnell, Candace Burley, John Gould Jr., Michael and Hazel Gould and many more. Adoring cousin to Eileen Joyce, Michael Patrick, Chris Joyce, Liam Michael, Jaci Gynan and many more. Also survived by her lifelong friends, AJ, Papi, Enzo and Tucker.
