Stephanie A. DiNino-DaSilva, of Plymouth, formerly of the North End of Boston, South Weymouth, and Bridgewater, aged 76, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, in Plymouth, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 21, 1947, to the late Mary and Enrico DiNino.
A proud graduate of Weymouth High School's class of 1966, Stephanie furthered her education and passion for helping others by attending Eastern Nazarene College, which led to a fulfilling career as a Nursing Home Administrator. Her compassion and dedication to the well-being of the elderly made a significant impact on many lives, earning her respect and admiration from colleagues and the community alike.
Devoted wife of Jose L. DaSilva. Beloved mother of Mark DiNino of Rockland and Kimberly DiCenso and her husband Joseph DiCenso of Rockland. As a grandmother, she was affectionately known as Nonnie to her cherished grandchildren, Marina, Alexander, Anthony, Adrianna, Jadyn-Marie & Nicco. She is also survived by her brothers Vito DiNino of Weymouth and Henry DiNino of Quincy.
An avid gardener, Stephanie found peace and solace in the beauty of nature. Cooking was another of Stephanie's talents, especially Italian cuisine, which she often shared with family and friends. Her Christmas Eve dinners became a treasured tradition that will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham.
